Die Schule soll weiterhin das vorleben, was sie auch selbst unterrichten möchte – absolute Unabhängigkeit! Es geht um das unbedingte Freihalten eines Raumes, wo es tatsächlich nur um die Kunst geht. Und nicht um den Betrieb, die Wertigkeiten und die Idee von Erfolg und Karriere. Einfach um die Kunst selbst. Zumindest für die kurze Dauer eines Schuljahres. Die Leute sollen an der Schule spüren, dass das Unabhängige immer die Antwort sein kann … denn wirklich unabhängig zu arbeiten kann einem einfach niemand wegnehmen. (Philipp Fleischmann)

It is not about the ´business´, or the social values of success and career. It is simply about art itself. At least this is how it should be for the short duration of a school term.
